You arrive in Mexico.
Tired, with your luggage… and suddenly:
👉 No one speaks English
👉 You don’t know how to hail a taxi
👉 You don’t understand a thing
Don’t worry. You don’t need to speak perfectly.
You just need the right phrases.
In this article, I’ll teach you exactly what you need to survive your first day in Mexico.
The bare minimum you need to say
Start with this:
Soy + nombre → Soy John
Soy de + país → Soy de Estados Unidos
Necesito + cosa → Necesito un taxi
👉 That’s all you need to get started.
The 5 Phrases That Will Save Your Life
Learn these NOW:
–¿Dónde está el baño? (Where is the restroom?)
–¿Cuánto cuesta? (How much does it cost?)
–Necesito un taxi. (I need a taxi.)
–No entiendo. (I don’t understand.)

💡 With these, you can handle 80% of situations.
In Mexico:
👉 People are friendly, but they don’t always speak English
👉 “Ahorita” doesn’t always mean “now” 😅
👉 It’s normal to ask for help
👉 Always use:
“please”
“thank you”
That changes EVERYTHING.
